Stephen Yadzinski
Steve has been a commercial artist for more than 17 years. Trained as a photographer, he earned his BFA in photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology. At 22, he became a master printmaker for a gelatin silver print house in New York City, working with clients including Annie Leibovitz, Flip Schulke, Antonin Kratochvil, and Steven Klein.
In 1998, Steve shifted his focus to commercial photography, working on location around the world building and perfecting images for clients like Chase Mastercard, Continental Airlines, Lincoln Financial Group and Atlantis.
In 2001 Steve launched Big Swing, where he created arresting imagery for clients including the Barbados Tourism Authority, Emirates, The Learning Channel, and Toyota. Steve never forgot his fine art roots, and he continues to work with some of the world’s top photographers, including Joel-Peter Witkin and Kristen Ashburn.
Steve’s artistic sensibilities, technical wizardry and passion for growing businesses large and small are the foundation on which Big Swing is built. Every day, Steve works with clients to establish effective strategies for marketing their businesses. Steve is also intimately involved in the production process, ensuring each Big Swing product is unique, well-crafted, tailored for results and built to last.
When he’s not working with clients, Steve shares his technical and aesthetic expertise with other photographers and illustrators at the prestigious Santa Fe Workshops.
